Lessons Learned.

NEVER... EVER... buy bedding offline without seeing it in person first. So, as I talked about before, Kevin and I are revamping our master bedroom && switching from an ancient queen mattress to a nice fluffy pillow top king {the mattress still hasn't shipped by the way}. Anyways, obviously we need new bedding to go with our bed set. So after DAYS of searching in store & online we find a bedding we both like... & at $60 we couldn't pass it up. Here is a picture of this marvelous bedding:
Cute right? Well, this package arrives yesterday and when I open it to finally see my beautiful comforter... I notice nice BRIGHT RED ink stains on park of the white. OH HECK NO! I take the comforter out of it's plastic packaging only to discover that, not only is it stained, the fabric quality is HORRIBLE ultra thin polyester that has already begun to fray around the stitching. Our "steal" was not even worth the price we paid for it.

So later that evening when Kevin got home we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, returned the nasty bedding & found wonderful bedding which we both like even more... ON CLEARANCE!!!! Originally $150, on sale for $100 + my thrifty 20 percent off coupon brought it down to a grand total of $80. Now that's what I call a steal for some quality sleeping materials!

I cannot wait until this room is put together!!! For now, another sneak peek: Feast your eyes on this wonderful bedding!
